NILFISK - The GM 90 Allergy VacuumThe most effective way to control allergy dust.
|
Most allergy sufferers don't consider particles like dust, dust
mite feces, mold and animal dander, that gather underneath
the furniture, in the carpeting or just about anywhere in a
home, to be the major cause of allergic reactions. The fact is, while you're vacuuming to keep your house free of those particles, your vacuum may be exhausting the very dust you've collected back into the air - not only aggravating your allergies or asthma, but literally redistributing that dust throughout your home.
EFFECTIVE SOLUTION... Using the GM 90 Allergy Vacuum gives you a solution that can effectively eliminate particles down to 0.12 microns in size - the real problem for allergy and asthma sufferers. The GM 90 acts as an environmental control to relieve allergy, asthma and respiratory ailments.
SPECIAL FILTRATION... The GM 90 Allergy Vacuum differs from your regular home vacuum because of its special filtration capabilities. A regular home vacuum only removes particles 35 microns or larger in size. (To put a micron in perspective, one human hair is 80-100 microns in diameter.) The GM 90 uses four separate filters to capture and eliminate up to 99.999% of all particles down to and including 0.12 microns - 1/960 the thickness of a human hair and the size of some bacteria. This means the dust you pick up is trapped in the vacuum, not blown through the exhaust.
INDUSTRY TESTED... Nilfisk vacuums have been manufactured in Denmark since 1910. They have long been used in American industry to collect and contain toxic and hazardous dusts such as asbestos and lead. Because they are capable of such ultrafine filtration, they are used by NASA to eliminate microscopic particles from the cargo bay before any space shuttle leaves the ground. For these and many other critical filtration applications, industry has come to rely on Nilfisk vacuums to get the job done right.
EASY-TO-USE... The Nilfisk GM 90 Allergy Vacuum comes with a complete set of accessories which lets you easily vacuum fIoors, rugs, draperies, walls and furniture as well as crevices and corners where dust may be hard to reach. Powerful suction ensures deep down cleaning.

Nilfisk of America has replaced their
traditional HEPA filter with a new filter,
the ULPA filter. The ULPA (Ultra Low
Penetration Air) filter is the best filter on the
market today! This filter captures and retains
99.999% of all particles down to and including
0.12 microns in size. To put it in more simple
terrns, the ULPA filter retains particles that are
1/960 the diameter of a human hair! ULPA filters were developed when even HEPA filters could not meet the strict standards of cleanliness in certain industries. When comparing the ULPA filter with the HEPA, there are many similarities. First, both filters are made of tightly woven glass fiber paper, offering five square feet of filter area. In addition, as with the HEPA filter, the ULPA filter only needs to be changed once every five years. Finally, each filter is individually tested to ensure the highest quality standards. However, with an ULPA filter, you are getting the most efficient filter available. This filter retains the finest particles - even smaller than those retained by a HEPA filter. ULPA filters are currently used in nuclear facilities and high-technology cleanrooms where maximum cleanliness is required. We are utilizing this technology and enabling you, the consumer, to benefit! Why settle for a HEPA filter when you can have a Super-HEPA filter!

TRIGGER IS NOT ONLY A HORSE
There are many common asthma triggers that sufferers encounter every day.
Some of these triggers can be controlled by environmental control measures
such as using a GS9O ULPA Filtered Allergy Vacuum Cleaner, encasing pillows,
mattresses and box springs or not allowing smoking in the house. Some
controllable and uncontrollable triggers include: Allergies - Common ones include pollens, house dust mites, mold spores and animal dander. Exercise - Regular exercise is important for healthy living, but may start an asthma attack. Sicknesses - Viiral respiratory tract infections and sinusitis irritate asthma. Nocturnal Asthma - changes in the body chemicals, delayed allergic response and dropping body temperature aggravate asthma. Emotions - Heightened emotions increase attack risks. Gastroesophageal reflux. Sensitivity to aspirin and other food additives are triggers. Hormonal changes - both prepubescent and menopausal asthmatics. Environmental irritants like pollution and smoke. Occupational irritants like paint fumes, chemicals or even perfumes in the office. (Newspaper report, 1996.) |
